Principal Technical Product Owner – AI Cloud & Datacenter Architecture

What You’ll Be Doing

As a

Technical Product Owner / Architect – Datacenter & Cloud Infrastructure , you own the

technical roadmap and architectural direction

of Nebul’s AI-ready infrastructure platforms. You operate at the intersection of

product strategy and deep engineering , translating business and platform requirements into concrete technical designs, reference architectures, and execution plans. You are not a proxy PO — you are technically capable of guiding teams, challenging vendors, and making architectural trade-offs.

You define how our infrastructure evolves across

datacenter design, hyperscaler-aligned cloud patterns, Kubernetes-based platforms, and high-performance AI workloads . You work closely with platform engineers, operations, and vendors to ensure Nebul’s infrastructure is scalable, secure, and future-proof.

This role requires hands-on technical understanding: you must be able to

lead discussions on cloud architecture, networking, power design, Kubernetes, and AI infrastructure , and steer delivery with confidence.

Key Responsibilities Own and maintain the

technical roadmap

for Nebul’s datacenter and cloud infrastructure platforms. Define and evolve

reference architectures

for AI- and HPC-optimized environments. Lead architectural decisions across: High-performance compute (GPU-based platforms) Networking (Ethernet / InfiniBand) Power, cooling, and datacenter scalability Kubernetes-based cloud platforms Translate strategic goals into

concrete technical epics, priorities, and execution plans . Guide engineering and operations teams with clear architectural direction and technical context. Drive procurement strategy and vendor alignment with partners such as NVIDIA and Mellanox. Ensure infrastructure designs align with security, compliance, and sovereign cloud requirements. Balance long-term platform vision with short-term delivery and operational realities.

What Your Day Will Not Look Like Writing user stories without understanding the underlying technology. Managing backlogs without architectural ownership. Acting as a communication layer instead of a technical decision-maker. Delegating all technical depth to engineers or vendors. Working disconnected from real infrastructure constraints.

What You Bring 5+ years of experience in

datacenter, cloud, or infrastructure architecture . Strong hands-on knowledge of: Hyperscaler cloud concepts and design patterns Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms High-performance networking and compute Proven ability to

own and steer a technical roadmap

end-to-end. Experience translating complex infrastructure challenges into scalable, actionable designs. Confidence engaging with senior engineers, architects, and vendors on deep technical topics. Structured, analytical mindset with strong communication skills.

Bonus Points If You Have Deep experience designing

AI/HPC datacenters . Knowledge of OpenStack and infrastructure automation tooling. Experience with lifecycle management of large-scale infrastructure (power, cooling, network growth). Background working with cloud or infrastructure providers at scale. Experience bridging product management and hands-on architecture roles.
