EUD (End User Devices) Specialist/Engineer Smartedge’s Client is looking for an individual to help with their EUD (End User Devices) Specialist/Engineer role on a permanent basis in Don‑Bosch & Leiden, Netherlands (Onsite).

Job Summary As an EUD Specialist, you will provide your expertise, coordinate management, and participate in projects for all workplace services. You will work based on Service Level Agreements, aligned with the client strategy, and in close consultation with your team and the business. The goal is to support and improve client processes continuously.

Primary Activities

Coordinating various changes carried out by local and international suppliers.

Proposing and implementing improvements to existing processes.

Managing Active Directory, Azure AD, M365, SCCM/Intune, and performing project and change activities, as well as regular operational maintenance tasks (including security‑driven) using existing scripts.

Managing the Teams telephony system to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Supervising and executing a range of recurring management tasks.

Participating in projects both as a consultant and in an executive capacity.

Languages: English & Dutch (C1‑Native)

Responsibilities Your responsibilities will range from workplace management to maintaining supplier contacts, all to support the functioning of workplaces within the client environment. You will be part of the team responsible for all services in client locations within the fields of networks, workstations, printers, telephony, and middleware applications.

You will report to the Manager and be based in the respective client location.

Qualifications

At least 3‑5 years of experience in IT Service Management.

Experience within a production environment (advantageous).

Knowledge of ITIL (certification is an advantage).

Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, Azure, SCCM & Intune, M365 and Windows (MCSE) knowledge.

Organizational and self‑starting abilities, with a structured way of working.

Travel ready to different places as per Opco Guidelines and on need basis within the country you work.

Available for any critical issues like P1 or P2 outside offshore hours.

Maintain agreed SLA’s.

Flexible to support any H & F in data rooms, network, servers, etc. and coordinate along with offshore teams.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation of administrative tasks.

Experience with Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.

Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and VPN technologies.

Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) solutions and BYOD policies.

Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices for endpoint protection.

Experience with modern desktop infrastructure (cloud workplace) solutions.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on various devices.

Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

Administrating SCCM & Cloud services integration

Managing the Teams telephony system to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
