Operational Change & Incident Communications Lead

Salt is currently hiring a Operational Change & Incident Communications Lead for a client of ours in Amsterdam.

The role is a freelance role(kvk/zzp) and is for 9 months.

Role Summary We are seeking a senior individual contributor to lead change and operational communications across the global Order to Cash (O2C) organization. This role designs and embeds a structured change framework to support system, process, and operational transformations within Finance and Payments Operations. Communications is a core lever — ensuring incidents, changes, and sensitive financial matters are communicated clearly, consistently, and in line with governance standards. Key Responsibilities Own and evolve the O2C change and communications operating model (governance, decision rights, templates, approval pathways) Lead structured communications during high-severity incidents, ensuring clear escalation, SLA adherence, and executive-ready updates Drive change planning for platform and process transitions, applying ADKAR or similar methodologies to ensure adoption Conduct RCA and implement CAPA to reduce recurrence and improve operational resilience Define and track KPIs including adoption, time to first communication, SLA compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction Profile 8+ years’ experience in change management, operational communications, or transformation roles Background in Finance, Payments, Revenue Operations, or complex global environments preferred Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence without line authority Excellent written communication skills with executive presence Impact:
