Senior Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer Subsea Cables - Lead quality assurance & control for world-class offshore cable projects

Introduction Are you a highly experienced QA/QC professional with a passion for offshore and subsea cable projects? We offer an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic international team working on cutting-edge subsea cable projects, with global deployment and a real impact on the energy transition.

Your role

Lead implementation of QA/QC procedures on projects, aligned with the integrated Quality Management System, client, legal, and certification requirements.

Serve as the main QA/QC point of contact — interfacing with employer representatives, subcontractors, suppliers and 3rd-party auditors.

Prepare project and business-unit QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, ITPs and audit schedules (internal and external).

Perform and coordinate inspections, verifications and witnessing activities on-site to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) throughout their lifecycle: investigation, root-cause analysis, corrective action and closure.

Collate quality data, prepare project-quality reports, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA/QC standards and processes.

Travel internationally to project sites as required.

Who are we looking for? You are the ideal candidate if you have:

An engineering degree (or equivalent) with quality- or QA/QC-related certification.

Internal / Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality or QA/QC role.

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 10005 and 10006.

Demonstrated experience with internal/external audits, ITPs, inspections, on-site inspections and report writing.

Familiarity with electronic reporting and action-tracking software.

Excellent command of English (both written and spoken). Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

Preferably experience in offshore energy, subsea or oil & gas projects.

Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary project team.
