Senior Software Engineer

Overview At ENPICOM we sit at the intersection of biology, software engineering, and AI. We build a digital platform that enables pharma and biotech companies to develop breakthrough medicine faster, and we're looking for engineers who want to make that happen.

Our platform processes trillions of sequencing reads, makes complex immunogenomics data usable for lab scientists, and integrates AI/ML so they don't need to write code themselves. Our customers include multiple Top 10 pharma companies, and the software we ship has a direct line to real-world drug discovery.

Role We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team in 's-Hertogenbosch. You'll work on hard problems (petabyte-scale data processing, ML integration, enterprise-grade reliability) alongside immunologists, ML researchers, and fellow engineers who hold each other to a high bar. With :30 people and 84% of us in R&D, there's no layers of management that slow you down. You'll be working on core architecture, influence product direction, and ship things that actually get used.

Responsibilities

Work on core architecture, influence product direction, and ship things that actually get used.

Collaborate with immunologists, ML researchers, and fellow engineers who hold each other to a high bar.

Own projects from design through deployment and ongoing operation.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional software engineering experience

Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Python, React & SQL (and ideally, Rust)

Experience building and operating cloud-native applications (AWS preferred)

Comfortable working with containerized architectures (Kubernetes, Docker)

Solid understanding of API design, scalable architecture, and data-intensive systems

You take ownership: from design through deployment through keeping it running

Experience in or curiosity about the life sciences / biotech domain is a plus, not a must

Effective communicator in an interdisciplinary, international team

Based in the Netherlands or willing to work hybrid (2 days per week at the office) from our 's-Hertogenbosch office
