Company Our client is a Dutch medtech innovator with around 100 employees, including 60 dedicated engineers. Raised over $50M in funding (funded through 2027), achieved CE marking, and are scaling deployments across European hospitals to revolutionize healthcare automation through advanced robotics.

Role Summary We're seeking multiple software engineers (2-5 years of experience) to contribute to next-generation real-time robotics development. Focus on practical C++ expertise (C++20 standard) and hands‑on engineering in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop/extend state machine logic and core functionality.

Implement code paths; enhance architecture for evolving hardware.

Integrate with DDS protocols; handle hardware-software validation.

Apply TDD; improve test scripting (Python); conduct code reviews via Git.

Day-to-Day Activities

Code state machines and core logic in C++20; debug real-time systems on Linux.

Integrate hardware changes; test DDS protocols and software‑hardware interfaces.

Write/review Python test scripts using TDD; collaborate via Git pull requests.

Validate features with the team; refine architecture for robotic automation.

Requirements

Strong C++ (C++20); state machines; Linux/RTOS; hardware integration; Git; Python (scripting/testing).

2‑5 years exp.; technical BSc/MSc; background in motion/tech, real‑time, robotics, math/vision.
