GSE Workshop Manager

We are recruiting an experienced Workshop Manager to lead operations within a busy technical workshop environment for an industry leading Ground Support Equipment company. The role is responsible for managing people, processes, and resources to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of maintenance and repair services. You will act as the main operational point of contact for customers and play a key role in driving performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities • Lead all workshop maintenance and repair activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high technical standard • Plan and allocate workload across supervisors and technicians to meet operational demands • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost control • Monitor and manage workshop KPIs, including turnaround time, cost per repair, productivity, and equipment uptime • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, quality standards, and internal procedures • Act as the primary operational point of contact for customers, managing day-to-day communication and expectations • Identify training needs and support the development of supervisors and technicians • Mentor, lead, and motivate the workshop team to maintain high performance and engagement • Manage workshop resources, tooling, and equipment to support operational requirements • Control workshop budgets and costs, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency • Liaise with suppliers and external partners to support maintenance and repair activities • Support technical problem-solving and escalation where required Requirements • Technical diploma as a minimum; bachelor's degree in xjpvoyz mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related discipline preferred • Extensive experience in workshop management, maintenance operations, or technical leadership within an industrial environment • Strong financial awareness with the ability to manage and control operational costs • Proven leadership skills with experience managing supervisors and technicians • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken Salary range for this role is €80,000-$100,000.
