looking for a

Hub Manager

to oversee operations at our

Waddinxveen hub . In this role, you will be

responsible for driving the overall performance of the hub , ensuring that all activities—including

last-mile sorting, linehaul, fulfillment, and facility management —run efficiently, accurately, and on schedule. You will

lead and coordinate teams, optimize workflows, manage KPIs, and implement process improvements , ensuring the hub consistently meets operational targets and service level commitments. This is not a “sit back and maintain” role. We’re looking for someone with

hands-on logistics experience

who can

Key Responsibilities Facility Management Oversee daily hub operations including staffing, equipment, and safety compliance. Ensure proper layout, space utilization, and operational efficiency. Maintain regulatory compliance and health & safety standards. Monitor hub performance and implement continuous improvements. Linehaul Management Manage inbound and outbound linehaul operations, ensuring on-time departures and arrivals. Coordinate with carriers and internal transport teams to optimize routing and capacity. Track linehaul KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and internal SOPs. Sort Management Supervise sorting operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness. Monitor volume fluctuations and allocate resources effectively. Implement process improvements and leverage technology to optimize throughput. Maintain quality standards and reduce errors in the sort process. Fulfillment Management Oversee order picking, packing, and dispatch processes within the hub. Ensure inventory accuracy and timely order processing. Collaborate with fulfillment teams to meet service level agreements (SLAs). Implement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize workflows.

What We’re Looking For 10+ years of experience in warehouse, hub, fulfillment, or last-mile logistics management. Hands-on experience managing high-volume distribution or sorting hubs. Proven ability to manage multiple operational functions simultaneously. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and process improvement skills. Excellent analytical and reporting abilities with KPI-driven mindset. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Self-motivated, accountable, and able to make operational decisions independently. Fluent in both Dutch and English
