About the role As

Tactical Buyer (mfd) , you play a key role within our Supply Chain organization in the Benelux. You ensure that purchasing needs are intelligently consolidated, analyzed, and translated into strong agreements with suppliers. You look beyond price alone: you build sustainable relationships, improve processes, and effectively engage internal stakeholders. You will work closely with colleagues from various departments as well as with the European Supply Chain team. In this role, you report to the Supply Chain Manager.

What will you do? Ensuring reliable and timely delivery of strategic components Streamlining, analyzing, and optimizing purchasing demand Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing agreements Setting up and executing supplier management Performing spend analyses, market research, and benchmarking Collaborating with internal departments to define clear specifications Advising management on purchasing strategy Monitoring agreements, compliance, and purchasing policies Actively contributing to process and workflow improvements

Bachelor’s level of thinking and working (e.g., Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering) Strong analytical skills and comfortable working with data (Excel holds few secrets for you) Hands-on mindset: you see what needs to be done and take action Strong relationship builder with the ability to interact smoothly with colleagues and suppliers Firm but fair negotiator with a long-term perspective Structured working style with the ability to maintain overview under pressure Good communication skills in Dutch and English
