About the job UIIN is looking for an organised and proactive

Events & Member Experience Officer

to take ownership of the operational planning and delivery of our international events and support an outstanding experience for our global membership community.

You will play a central role in ensuring that UIIN’s conferences, forums, and online events run smoothly. This includes everything from planning and coordination through to execution, evaluation, and continuous improvement. This role sits at the heart of UIIN’s delivery activities, helping translate plans into high-quality experiences for members, partners, and participants worldwide.

What we expect from this role We expect you to take ownership of the operational coordination and delivery of UIIN’s global events calendar, ensuring professional execution and a seamless participant experience across our activities. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys making complex activities run smoothly and who is comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders, timelines, and processes simultaneously. You will work closely with colleagues across membership, marketing, and leadership, while independently managing day-to-day event operations and member-facing delivery processes.

What you will do Event Planning & Deliver Oversee the operational coordination of UIIN’s annual in-person and online events calendar Coordinate and deliver international conferences, regional forums, and online events Lead end-to-end planning cycles, including timelines, milestones, participant processes, and internal coordination Coordinate speakers, venues, suppliers, and partners Manage registrations, participant communication, and logistics Support and coordinate on-site event delivery internationally Ensure alignment between planning, delivery, and post-event follow-up Oversee post-event evaluation and performance tracking Member Experience Support onboarding of new members and participants Manage event access, vouchers, and participation logistics Respond to operational member enquiries professionally and efficiently Support engagement workflows connected to events and community activities Operational Coordination & Improvement Maintain event and membership data across internal systems Track and report on event performance (registrations, attendance, engagement, feedback, revenue) Identify opportunities to improve workflows and operational processes Provide temporary operational support to training activities when required

What you will bring 3–6 years of experience in events, operations, hospitality, programme coordination, or similar roles Experience coordinating complex activities involving multiple stakeholders Confidence working with digital platforms such as CRM systems, event tools, or community platforms Strong organisational and planning skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities independently Professional communication skills in English
