Event Project Manager

Role Description As an Event Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in bringing our global events to life. This position demands a blend of creativity, organisational prowess, and the ability to manage diverse teams/clients/suppliers across different time zones. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful event management on an international scale, with a passion for creating memorable experiences.

Main Responsibilities: • Project managing our (international) events; • Taking over where sales has left off; • Making sure we overdeliver to our client to build a lasting relationship; • Sourcing new suppliers and concepts; • Teaching our interns the ropes of the event field.

Ideal Profile: • Multilingual and culturally sensitive • Detail-oriented • Able to work individually and in a team • Proactive (communication) towards our clients, colleagues and suppliers • Able to manage many different things at the same time • Stress proof • Passion for events and hospitality • Creative problem-solving mindset • Flexible mindset • Network of Dutch event suppliers and venues.

What We're Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree (HBO/WO) in Event Management, International Business or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in project/event management, with at least 1 year in an international context, internships included. • Strong project management skills, including experience with project management software. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; Dutch and additional languages are a plus. • Ability to travel internationally and work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and evenings as required by event schedules. • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and logistics. • Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing diverse suppliers and/or teams. • Based in The Netherlands.
