Your Impact as an AI / Machine Learning Engineer At CERTUS, you won’t be building models that stay in notebooks. You will design, develop, optimize, and maintain machine-learning and computer-vision models that run in

production environments , both on edge devices and in the cloud, powering mission-critical logistics operations. Accuracy, scalability, and reliability are essential. At the same time, you’ll have the freedom to explore and evaluate state-of-the-art AI/ML technologies and drive continuous innovation within our products.

What You’ll Do Design, train, validate, and optimize ML and computer-vision models Develop scalable training and evaluation pipelines aligned with ISO and internal quality standards Translate technical, customer, and product requirements into robust model architectures Integrate models into production systems together with software and cloud teams Monitor model performance and diagnose degradations or bias Document architectures, training procedures, and decisions according to ISO guidelines Identify technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and innovation opportunities Evaluate and experiment with modern ML frameworks and emerging technologies Contribute to technical reviews and knowledge-sharing within the team

What You Bring Education Bachelor’s degree or higher in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field. Experience 3+ years of professional Python experience 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning and/or Computer Vision 3+ years of hands-on model training experience (datasets, evaluation, optimization) Experience deploying ML/AI models on edge devices or in cloud-based production systems Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow Experience with modern ML toolchains, data workflows, and evaluation techniques Familiarity with Linux, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and version control Skills & Mindset Strong analytical thinking High documentation discipline (ISO-driven environment) Autonomous and proactive communicator Innovation-driven and solution-oriented ⚖️ Responsibility & Complexity

This role comes with real impact. You will make model-level technical decisions within project boundaries and handle multidimensional challenges involving: Real-world data variability Emerging AI technologies System integrations Performance trade-offs Incorrect model behavior can directly affect operational performance and customer deliverables. That’s why thorough validation, documentation, and quality control are essential. You will work independently within defined scopes, escalate major risks when necessary, and ensure compliance with ISO and security standards.
