Position Title: Business Development Manager – EV Charging Salary: DOE + Bonus + company car or car allowance Location: Netherlands-wide territory Your New Employer You'll be joining a large, established EV charging technology business with a strong international footprint and serious backing behind its growth plans. The organisation is known for delivering reliable, high-performance charging solutions and supporting major customers through the full lifecycle- tender, delivery, rollout, and long-term partnership. With transport electrification accelerating across the Netherlands, the team is expanding and investing in experienced commercial talent to win large-scale depot and fleet charging projects. Your New Role This is a high-ownership sales role focused on growing DC charging solutions across the Netherlands, selling into bus and truck operators, fleet/depot owners and Charge Point Operators (CPOs). You'll drive new business from scratch - cold outreach, market mapping, and targeted account development, then manage opportunities through the full sales cycle to close. You'll be out with customers regularly, building senior relationships and converting complex requirements into commercially successful proposals. You'll join a driven commercial team and act as the lead DC-focused BDM in-country, with longer-term scope to support growth into neighbouring Benelux markets. Your Background You'll have a minimum of 3 years' experience in EV charging, either selling charging hardware (AC and/or DC) and/or EV charging software platforms. You'll be credible in senior customer conversations, consultative in style, and confident navigating multi-stakeholder deals across operations, engineering, procurement and leadership teams. Heavy-duty transport experience (bus/truck depots, fleet charging, logistics hubs) is a strong advantage. You should also understand the Netherlands EV charging ecosystem and be able to identify and engage the key CPOs and fleet decision-makers.
