About the Program The Master Theatre at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences is an international, practice‑based programme for experienced performing artists. It offers a personalised development trajectory within a strong collective learning environment, using artistic research as a central tool. Students and staff operate as a self‑learning community, sharing practices, methods, and networks. The programme is designed for mature professionals with an existing body of work and emphasises horizontal, generous and reflexive pedagogy.

Responsibilities

Curate and coordinate lectures, workshops and encounters that enrich the artistic research environment.

Facilitate horizontal learning processes within a diverse, international group of performance practitioners.

Mentor students throughout their individual trajectories and graduation projects.

Take responsibility for organisational and administrative tasks related to the programme.

Contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum and research structure.

Build and maintain a strong network of guest teachers and professional partners in the field.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in a relevant artistic, theoretical or research field or comparable experience.

Demonstrable artistic practice with an international scope.

Experience in higher arts education.

Availability on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Excellent command of English, as the programme is spoken in English.

Affinity with transdisciplinary and reflexive artistic practices.

What We Offer

0.4 FTE, starting with a one‑year contract, with the intention to offer a permanent contract thereafter.

Salary up to scale 12 under the cao‑hbo, ranging from €5 583,78 to €7 534,61 gross monthly for a full‑time appointment.

8 % holiday allowance and 8.3 % end‑of‑year bonus.
