Lead Project Engineer IRM

As Lead Project Engineer IRM, you will spearhead multidisciplinary engineering efforts for high-stakes offshore projects.

Your Impact as Lead Engineer In this senior position, you are technically responsible for the preparation and execution of complex Inspection, Repair, and Maintenance (IRM) projects. You will work at the forefront of both the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy sectors.

Technical Leadership:

Spearhead the engineering efforts of a multidisciplinary team, managing all technical interfaces between engineers, subcontractors, and clients.

Integral Solutions:

Lead the team in delivering technical solutions for IRM projects, including the preparation of method statements, detailed calculations, and engineering drawings.

Project Oversight:

Monitor engineering progress, ensure adherence to schedules, and manage resources effectively. You will act as a deputy Project Manager when required.

Innovation & Mentorship:

Stay ahead of developments in WROV, inspection, and diving technology while coaching and supporting junior engineers within the department.

Offshore Operations:

Manage vessel mobilizations and demobilizations, conduct project briefings, and occasionally work offshore to ensure seamless project execution.

What You Bring to the Team

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Offshore Energy, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience:

At least 5 years of proven experience as a Lead Engineer within subsea IRM projects.

Expertise:

Solid knowledge of ROV and/or diving operations is essential.

Competencies:

You are scope-aware with a strong understanding of the commercial implications of technical choices. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are a must.

Language & Travel:

Proficiency in English (verbal and written) and a willingness to travel abroad and work offshore occasionally.
