Operation Engineer

Role Description

As our new Medior Operations Engineer, you will help keep the Soverin platform stable, secure and running smoothly. Your focus will be on day-to-day operational support, monitoring systems, resolving incidents and working closely with our support team to ensure our customers remain happy and our SLA commitments are consistently met. You will be responsible for handling operational issues, monitoring queues, dealing with abuse notifications and helping maintain the reliability of our email infrastructure. In addition, you will contribute to operational improvements, participate in platform projects and help maintain the documentation and processes required for our ISO‑certified environment. You will play a key role in a small team of email and privacy experts working on one of Europe’s leading privacy‑first email platforms. Your Responsibilities

Handling 2nd and 3rd line support tickets related to our email infrastructure Monitoring support queues, alerts and incidents to ensure SLA compliance Investigating and resolving operational issues and service disruptions Proactively monitoring platform health, performance and email flows Handling abuse notifications, blacklist reports and compromised accounts Supporting platform maintenance and infrastructure troubleshooting Managing internal office automation, hardware and team tooling Maintaining documentation and supporting ISO processes and audits Contributing to operational improvements and technical projects Qualifications

Higher education degree or able to work/think at that level 3–5 years experience in operations, systems administration or technical support, preferably in the email domain Experience handling technical support tickets or operational queues Comfortable troubleshooting infrastructure and service issues Structured and process‑oriented with attention to operational quality Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Nice to have

Experience with email infrastructure (Postfix, Dovecot, anti‑spam systems) Experience handling abuse reports or spam mitigation Familiarity with Linux systems and networking basics Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Alertmanager or Grafana Our Offer
