Business Analyst / Business Developer HR Data & Reporting (36 hours, Temporary Assignment)

We are looking for a Business Developer HR Data & Reporting to support the design and implementation of our HR data warehouse and operational reporting landscape.
You’ll join the HR Integration Team, an Agile DevOps team responsible for collecting, structuring, and distributing HR data across the organisation.
This is a temporary role (36 hours per week).
Salary range: €7,400 – €8,500 per month (full-time equivalent).
You must be located in the Netherlands and hold a valid work permit.
Your Impact
You will design data models that form the foundation for consistent and reliable HR reporting. The data is already available but needs to be cleaned, structured, and stored according to Kimball principles.
What You Will Do
Design dimensional data models for Performance Management and Talent Acquisition following our standards (dimensional modelling; acquisition–integration–consumption layers).
Ensure onboarding of new datasets into the HR Data Market.
Align with business users to understand reporting requirements and translate these into data and technical requirements.
Translate requirements into clear user stories for the Scrum team.
Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and other business developers.
Communicate with teams managing source systems.
Document data models and data flows clearly and thoroughly.
Support the development team by explaining data logic, transformations, and your design choices.
Contribute to enhancements of regression testing to ensure new data is included.
Must‑haves
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Developer.
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Proven experience in requirements gathering.
Experience with functional testing based on requirements.
Experience with dimensional data modelling.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Experience with Azure.
Knowledge of Kimball principles and multilayered data architectures (acquisition–integration–consumption).
Ability to document data models clearly.
Strong communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
Experience translating business needs into user stories.
Nice‑to‑haves
Azure Fundamentals certification.
Experience with Power BI or other BI visualisation tools.
Experience in the HR domain (Talent Acquisition, Performance Management).
Experience improving or expanding regression testing.
