Quality Assurance Specialist

We are looking for an

experienced QA Specialist

to join our team. Ideally, you live

between Breda, Utrecht and Holten

and are ready to take ownership of quality initiatives in a

dynamic, fast-growing plant-based organization .

General responsibilities

Lead and support cross-functional Quality projects and integration initiatives

Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with

FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS , and other relevant standards

Drive continuous quality improvement through

root cause analysis and CAPA activities

Support and lead quality-related activities, including

HACCP, audits, and improvement projects

Lead validation and verification activities related to projects and operations

Develop and lead quality training initiatives and upskilling programs, delegating tasks to factory personnel where appropriate

Harmonize and standardize complaint handling and investigations, ensuring accurate registration in relevant systems

Provide support during external audits and site visits

Responsibilities in Breda

Key contact for the production team on all quality topics

Back-up for the QA Coordinator (first point of contact for Quality), including during external audits

Lead outsourced pest control activities, inspections, and continuous improvement; main contact for the pest control provider

Coordinate activities with

Eco2Clean

(consultancy and supplier)

Develop, maintain, and lead the environmental monitoring program, including corrective actions

Ensure production samples are properly registered at the laboratory for analysis

Lead cross-functional projects for

Management of Change

Support quality risk assessments for new equipment

Key requirements

HBO-level of working and thinking, ideally in a technical field

Minimum

5 years of experience in the food industry

Strong knowledge of

food safety legislation and labelling requirements

Detail-oriented, structured, and analytical

Strong communication skills; approachable and collaboratiion
