Data Engineer

A fast-growing Amsterdam-based FinTech firm transforming the way individuals and businesses interact with financial services are looking for a talented Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data infrastructure that powers the trading environment.

Key Responsibilities Build clean, scalable ELT pipelines using dbt, SQL, PySpark, and Databricks. Design curated models and semantic layers to standardize KPIs across Finance, People, and Ops. Partner directly with business teams to turn complex requirements into clear, reusable data products. Implement governance and quality checks (lineage, testing, role-based access) so data is reliable and secure.

What We’re Looking For Experience in Data Engineering Advanced skills in SQL and dbt Hands-on experience with Databricks or equivalent Lakehouse platforms. Understanding of data governance and quality frameworks. Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with business stakeholders Experience using Python
