Shipping & Receiving Coordinator / Specialist (Almere)

Location: Almere (Netherlands)

Position Summary We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Shipping & Receiving Coordinator / Specialist to lead and support daily warehouse logistics operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, managing documentation, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining ERP system records for inventory and order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements.

Inspect and verify incoming deliveries against invoices, packing lists, and purchase orders; report discrepancies and initiate resolution.

Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments, including commercial invoices, packing slips, and export compliance forms.

Process and fulfill customer orders within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Perform receiving and inventory transactions in the ERP system, including inventory adjustments, returns, and product assembly tracking.

Schedule and coordinate pickups and deliveries with freight carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL), ensuring cost‑effective and on‑time transportation.

Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve shipment issues and improve logistics processes.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards.

Support quarterly cycle counts and end‑of‑quarter shipping deadlines.

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping/receiving, logistics coordination, or related warehouse operations.

Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word; experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems preferred.
