Senior Java Engineer

As a

Senior Java Developer , you are responsible for designing, implementing, integrating, testing, and delivering high-quality software functionality. You will work on robust communication platforms deployed in military tracked vehicles, ensuring reliability, performance, and security in demanding operational environments.

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will:

Design and develop innovative software solutions using

Java v17 Implement and integrate functionality within complex communication systems Translate functional and technical requirements into robust software designs Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system validation Collaborate with system architects, hardware engineers, and test engineers Contribute to software architecture and technical decision-making Ensure high standards in code quality, security, and performance Support continuous improvement of development processes

Your profile Fluency in Dutch and English Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar 4-5 years of professional Java development experience Strong experience with

Java 17 Experience with system integration in complex technical environments Familiar with software design principles and architectural patterns Experience with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of secure and high-availability systems is a strong plus Experience in defense, embedded, or mission-critical environments is an advantage Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset
