Accounting Assistant

LG Electronics European Shared Service Center B.V. (LGESC) is located in Amstelveen, and provides services to European marketing & sales subsidiaries in the areas of Tax, Treasury, Credit Insurances, Product Standards and Product Training.

About the job As Accounting Assistant you will be part of the admin team which is (a.o.) responsible for the day-to-day operations with regards to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) and Physical Assets (FA) for the LGESC entity.

What you'll do Daily cash management analysis & reconciliation; Processing of AP/AR/GL/FA transactions; Preparation of Accounts Payable batch payments; Manage Intercompany Netting; General ledger analysis and reconciliations; Managements reporting, including statistics reporting; Support Internal/ external audits and preparation annual report; Support internal and external customers with accounting related questions; Perform the closing & asset inspection cycle; financial data must be accurate and reliable; Coordinate packaging tax reporting; Support ad hoc requests from HQ and management;

What you must have Bachelor degree related to Finance/Tax/Accounting; At least 2 years working experience; Fluent in English written and spoken; Experience with ERP systems is an advantage; Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel); Service minded; Possess ability to analyze and interpret information; Excellent communication skills; Accurate, reliant and professional; Positive can-do mentality, no nine-to-five mentality; Flexibility;
