What will you do? Wat ga je doen?

In deze rol ben jij de centrale schakel in het realiseren van uitdagende waterprojecten – van eerste verkenning tot succesvolle oplevering. Denk hierbij aan tunnelgemalen, poldergemalen, rioleringsinstallaties en andere essentiële infrastructuur.

Je werkt op het snijvlak van elektrotechniek, werktuigbouwkunde en civiele techniek, waarbij je verschillende disciplines samenbrengt en zorgt dat alles naadloos op elkaar aansluit.

Your Responsibilities Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Je communiceert helder en professioneel met alle interne en externe stakeholders, zoals waterschappen, gemeenten, ingenieursbureaus, industriële klanten en aannemers.

Je stuurt een multidisciplinair projectteam aan, bestaande uit o.a. een assistent‑Project Engineer, calculator, werkvoorbereider en inbedrijfsteller.

Je stelt projectplanningen, budgetten en contractdocumentatie op en bewaakt deze nauwkeurig.

Je bent eindverantwoordelijk voor zowel het organisatorische als het financiële resultaat van jouw projecten.

Je bezoekt klanten voor technische opnames, voortgangsbesprekingen en het signaleren van risico’s, afwijkingen of knelpunten.

Are you an experienced Project Engineer energized by complex, technical projects with societal impact? For a leading player in water technology, we are looking for a Project Engineer to successfully manage water‑related infrastructure projects from A to Z.

What will you do?

In this role, you act as the central link in delivering challenging water projects—from initial exploration to successful completion. These projects may include pumping stations for tunnels and polders, sewer installations, and other essential infrastructure.

You will work at the intersection of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering, bringing together different technical disciplines and ensuring seamless integration across all components.

Your Responsibilities

Communicate clearly and professionally with all internal and external stakeholders, including water authorities, municipalities, engineering firms, industrial clients, and contractors.

Lead a multidisciplinary project team, including an Assistant Project Engineer, cost estimator, work planner, and commissioning engineer.

Prepare and closely monitor project schedules, budgets, and contract documentation.

Take full responsibility for both the organizational and financial outcomes of your projects.

Visit customers for technical assessments, progress meetings, and to identify risks, deviations, or bottlenecks.
