As a Mechatronics Technician, you are responsible for the assembly of high-tech modules, products and machines. In this role, you take care of the assembly, test and packaging of mechatronic or (electro)-mechanical modules or complete machines. You will work for customers in the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industry, within the Brainport region and beyond. Your expertise plays a vital role in bringing high-tech solutions to life, so that they meet the customer agreements and requirements regarding quality, delivery times and efficiency.
What excites you as a Mechatronics Technician?
Assembling mechanical, electrical and electronic components into complete mechatronic modules and systems.
Performing precise assembly tasks according to technical drawings, work instructions and specifications.
Carrying out functional tests, calibrations and system checks.
Analysing test results and documenting them in reports.
Troubleshooting and resolving (complex) technical issues during the build or testing phase.
Improving and standardizing assembly processes and work instructions.
Providing feedback to the engineering team and proposing design improvements.
Supporting the introduction of new products (NPI) and the associated working methods.
This is what you bring to the table
A completed Secondary Vocational Education (MBO-4) Mechatronics education or a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or Electronics.
At least 3 years of experience as a technician/prototype technician/service technician in the high-tech industry.
Good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.
Competencies: independent, committed, reliable, cooperative, and focused on improving (assembly) processes and products.
