Inspection Engineer

at our partner, you will play a key role in the inspection team, ensuring that offshore structures are inspected accurately and thoroughly. You will be responsible for processing inspection data, creating technical drawings, and preparing comprehensive reports that support high-quality delivery to our clients.

You will work closely with the Senior Inspection Engineer and other team members to interpret inspection scopes of work, set up datasheets and tracking systems, and ensure that inspection activities are executed according to client specifications and industry standards. You will also provide support during offshore campaigns when required and contribute to compliance with SCC (VCA) and ISO quality processes.

This is an independent role where attention to detail and a proactive attitude are essential — yet you will always have support and guidance from experienced colleagues to help you succeed and grow.

What is Required? Technical education at MBO Level 4 or HBO in a technical direction like mechanical engineering, civil engineering or similar; 1–3 years of relevant work experience in a similar engineering or inspection role; Experience processing technical data and producing detailed reports and drawings; Proficiency with standard engineering tools (e.g., MS Office) and experience with CAD software is an advantage; Good command of the English language, both written and spoken; Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a quality-driven mindset; Enthusiastic about working in the offshore energy sector and willing to learn and develop further;
