Java Software Engineer

The Position

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Java Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Apeldoorn. As a Java Software Engineer, your main tasks will include: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services Perform code reviews and contribute to best practices Ensure application performance, security, and scalability Your profile

Holding a Dutch passport (mandatory for security clearance) Completed bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field Proficient with Java with at least 3+ years of practical experience Experience with Linux development and production environments is a must Has broad knowledge of software tooling like: Kubernetes, Git, SonarQube, and other tooling Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Working conditions
