Head of Compliance

Rapidly expanding Global Broker are setting up an Amsterdam Office and are keen to hire a Head of Compliance to gain their regulatory permissions and establish a robust Compliance function in this jurisdiction. Ideally this will be delivered on a temp/contract to permanent basis. Reporting into the CEO duties will include: Leading and delivery of applications for both MiFID and MiCA CASP authorisations Full ownership of Regulatory Business Plans and creation of Compliance frameworks Drafting of all AFM Compliance policies and Procedures Expanding current MiFID policies to adhere with local regulations Liaison with local regulators (AFM) Leading and building out Compliance function upon successful application We are keen to hear from candidates with proven experience in a senior compliance role with direct responsibility for AFM licence applications (MiFID, MiCA, or equivalent financial authorisations). An In-depth understanding of Dutch financial services regulation, the AFM supervisory process, and ESMA regulatory framework is also required.
