Region NCE and Global Offshore > OWEZ Purpose and reason for the existence of the job The Vestas Offshore Service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind turbines in multiple windfarms in the North Sea of the coast of the Netherlands. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our success. Responsibilities

Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs

Service and maintenance according to agreement, as well as carrying out a diversity of check‑ups, repairs and replacement activities of turbine components

Frictionless operation of our turbines and use of our systems like condition monitoring and remote control

Contact with customers regarding completed and upcoming service and repairs

Responsibility of the service vehicle, warehouse and order of material, tools and spare parts

Daily reporting in SAP

Qualifications

Degree and work experience preferably within electricity, automation or mechanics are beneficial. You are also eager to develop your skills within these areas

Great level of English skills are required

Computer knowledge as the tasks includes regular reporting and communication through various systems

Driver's license class B

Competencies

Motivated by team work, communication with other parts of the organisation as well as being service-minded.

Structured and independent

Flexible, as unplanned overtime can occur and also some travelling

Good physical condition and can work on heights

High level of safety awareness

Additional information As you will go home everyone everyday in this role, residence near or in Ijmuiden will be required, preferably within 40KM. This is a Dutch national contract, therefore Dutch residency and work permit is required. Relocation will be taken into consideration, however, at own expense.
