Company Description A leading laboratory group in the Netherlands operates from ten locations to ensure the safety of food, water, and animal products. At the Barendrecht site, we are seeking a QA Coordinator who is motivated by ensuring quality and compliance. Job Description As a QA Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding quality both internally and externally. You will contribute to maintaining and improving the ISO/IEC 17025-compliant quality system, ensuring procedures are up-to-date, accreditations are monitored, and QA objectives are met. You will coordinate proficiency testing, manage external calibrations, deliver training, and conduct audits across departments. Additionally, you will support improvement initiatives, identify risks and opportunities, and translate challenges into practical, quality-driven actions that enhance compliance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and improve the ISO/IEC 17025-compliant quality system Develop, review, and update QA procedures and documentation Monitor accreditations and support organizational quality issues Coordinate proficiency tests and external calibrations Provide QA training across departments Conduct internal audits and ensure follow-up on findings Advise on and support improvement initiatives Address risks and opportunities related to compliance and quality Essential Requirements: Bachelor's degree in laboratory technology, preferably with specialization in analytical chemistry, or equivalent education/experience Demonstrable experience in a laboratory environment Strong knowledge of quality systems and ISO/IEC 17025 standards Affinity with legislation and legal recognition is a plus Strong adaptability and organizational sensitivity; able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization Analytical, precise, quality-driven, and decisive; able to balance detail orientation with results focus Skilled in computer systems and data processing Additional Insights: Location: Barendrecht, Netherlands Department: Quality xjpvoyz Assurance (Food Testing) Contract: One-year with prospect of permanent employment Working Hours: 40 hours per week Salary Range: €3,139 – €4,100 gross/month (based on 40h, depending on experience) Benefits: 25 vacation days (40h basis) + option to purchase additional leave Hybrid working model with €400 home-working budget Monthly gym membership contribution Strong pension plan with reduced working hours option later in career Profit-sharing plan Inclusive holiday policy (e.g., option to take leave on Eid al-Fitr or other personal holidays) Individual budget (holiday allowance, profit sharing, extra leave, or tax-efficient benefits) Interested?
