About the Role Our client is an established engineering consultancy delivering innovative and sustainable infrastructure and energy projects across the Netherlands. Their Arnhem office is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer / Project Manager to lead civil infrastructure projects from initiation through design and execution.

You will oversee project scope, quality, planning, and budget while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing key stakeholders. This is a leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge and excellent organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead civil engineering projects from concept to construction.

Manage planning, budget, risks, and quality assurance.

Coordinate internal engineers, designers, and external partners.

Act as the main contact for clients, developers, and municipalities.

Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Drive continuous improvement within projects and processes.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil design and/or project management.

Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Experience controlling project quality, timelines, and costs.

Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch preferred.
