Overview
We are looking for a technically minded and customer-oriented Technical Sales Engineer I (f/m/d) to support and grow customer relationships through expert product guidance and solution-oriented sales engagement. In this role, you will combine technical understanding with commercial acumen, ensuring customers receive reliable, right-first-time solutions while contributing directly to revenue growth and long-term account development. You will operate at the intersection of sales, engineering and customer support, delivering a high-quality customer experience across multiple channels.
Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer experience by providing technical advice on products, services and capabilities, ensuring solutions meet customer requirements and achieve high right-first-time performance (90–95%).
Support the full sales cycle, from initial contact through post-sales engagement, including up to 20% field-based customer interaction.
Conduct outbound outreach to nurture and grow small and medium-sized customer opportunities, leveraging Salesforce and working in coordination with sales representatives and customer touchpoints.
Engage with customers via telephone, email and chat to resolve technical inquiries and recommend suitable solutions.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including production, engineering, sales and customer care, to address customer needs efficiently and professionally.
Actively promote the product portfolio to drive revenue growth and strengthen customer relationships.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a technical or industrial environment.
Proven track record in inside sales, technical sales support or customer service functions.
Fluency in English and German (written and spoken - C1) is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to influence and provide constructive feedback.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to present technical information clearly and effectively.
