Product Owner

Overview

We are looking for a Product Owner (PO) for our Sovereign Private Cloud who will be responsible for the daily prioritization and delivery of our cloud platform. In this role, you translate product strategy, customer needs, and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable backlog items for our engineering team. You are the key driver in delivering value, with a strong focus on security, compliance, data residency, and operational excellence. What will you do?

As a Product Owner, you are responsible for the tactical and operational management of our platform. Your responsibilities include: Managing and prioritizing the product backlog. Planning and delivering new releases, including supporting sales and upsell opportunities. Defining the technical roadmap and vision in close collaboration with architects and development teams. Building and managing development teams, with a focus on internal resources. Translating business objectives into technically feasible solutions. Defining standards and optimizing ways of working within and outside the team. Contributing to portfolio and domain decisions and developing business cases. Measuring success through business and operational KPIs. Daily activities

Writing and refining epics, features, and user stories. Prioritizing backlog items based on business value, technical dependencies, and team capacity. Answering functional and content-related questions from the development team. Communicating and representing the team’s technical decisions. Supporting refinement sessions, sprint planning, and reviews. Balancing resources and costs to achieve business objectives. What do you bring?

Experience & background: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in: Private cloud Infrastructure or regulated IT environments Proven experience working with engineering-led teams on complex technical platforms. Strong understanding of private cloud technologies (e.g., virtualization, Kubernetes, cloud platforms). Knowledge of: Data sovereignty and regulations Security- and compliance-by-design principles Enterprise or regulated IT environments Experience with AI/ML workloads or data platforms is a plus. Sufficient technical depth to: Understand architectural decisions Discuss trade-offs with engineers and architects Translate business and regulatory requirements into feasible solutions Comfortable acting as the interface between business, compliance, and technology. Personal skills
