Environmental Health Safety Coordinator

Industrial | North Holland, Netherlands | Onsite | Offshore Take the lead in Health, Safety, and Environmental (EHS) management for offshore wind retrofit projects. Ensure safety of personnel, contractors, and operations on 208 wind turbines across two wind farms (HKZ and HKN) while working from a Service Operations Vessel (SOV).

Role & Responsibilities

Define and coordinate implementation of functional EHS measures within the assigned organization and offshore teams.

Monitor existing and potential EHS concerns and recommend priorities for resolution.

Analyze statistical EHS information and provide advice on corrective or preventive measures.

Initiate and coordinate collection and consolidation of data for effective EHS reporting.

Support Management Team in all EHS-related issues and coordinate with accountable professionals on-site.

Lead root cause analyses (RCA) investigations onsite and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Review offshore contractors to ensure compliance with set-to-work procedures.

Maintain safety oversight for electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical operations onboard WTGs.

Requirements / Profile

Extensive technical knowledge of wind turbine works (hydraulic and mechanical).

Physically capable of accessing wind turbines with full PPE; fluent in platform rescue training.

Fluent in English; additional language skills a plus.

Experience working offshore in high-risk, 24/7 operational environments.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work on back-to-back rotations (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off).
