Azure Engineer

Job Description Would you like to participate in large (cloud) migrations of our international customers? At Triple, we are seeking an Azure Engineer to strengthen our team.

What are you going to do? As an Azure Engineer at Triple, you are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our Cloud Solutions based on the Azure platform. Our clients are located worldwide, creating a dynamic work environment. You collaborate closely with our clients and a team of architects, engineers, and developers to create the best solutions that fulfill the requirements.

Your Activities Include

Designing and implementing Azure cloud solutions for our customers

Setting up and managing hosting environments based on scripting (ARM/Bicep Templates, Azure CLI, and PowerShell)

Building and configuring Azure services, such as virtual machines, storage, networking, security, databases, and applications

Setting up and managing build & release pipelines to support your colleagues in the automation and integration of the CI/CD pipelines

Optimizing Azure deployments to meet performance and scalability requirements

Monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing (existing) Azure environments to ensure reliability and security

Solving problems and providing support for technical issues

Collaborating with different (competence) teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet the standards

The team The TechOps (Technology Operations) department includes about 40 engineers and plays a vital role at Triple. As an Azure Engineer, you will join one of our teams and work directly with other Azure colleagues. It is preferred that you have scripting and programming skills, such as PowerShell, Python, Golang, or C#.

You should have experience with infrastructure automation and configuration tools like Bicep or ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and SaltStack. Additionally, familiarity with file formats such as JSON, YAML,L, or XML is important. Knowledge of DevOps processes and tools like Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub, Git, and Jenkins is also essential. In the TechOps department, we prioritize sharing knowledge and experience.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field

At least three years of experience with Azure cloud solutions and services

Knowledge of cloud security, networking, and storage

Experience with automation and scripting in Azure, such as PowerShell and ARM/Bicep templates

Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools

Participating in 24/7 on-call services

Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English (Dutch is a big plus)

Work from our Alkmaar office, with the option to work from home one day per week
