Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.
As you know, every person is different and so is every role in a company. That is why we have to adapt accordingly, and the process may differ slightly at times. However, please know that we always put ourselves in the candidate's shoes to ensure they have the best possible experience.

Shape the Future of Healthcare – Help Build a Life-Changing Medical System
At Amaris Consulting, we're partnering with a leading innovator in the medical technology space to bring life-changing clinical solutions to market. We're looking for a skilled Test Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of a next-generation medical system.

Your Impact: Key Responsibilities
Build the testing foundation: Design and set up a complete testing environment from scratch, aligned with medical industry standards.
End-to-end system validation: Test across hardware, firmware, and user interface layers of an embedded medical system.
Ensure regulatory compliance: Verify that all components meet strict medical norms and safety requirements (e.g., IEC 62304, ISO 13485, IEC 60601).
Collaborate across disciplines: Work closely with R&D, software, and hardware teams to integrate testing into the full development lifecycle.
Drive quality excellence: Identify risks early, define test strategies, and deliver robust, patient-safe solutions.
What You Bring: Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in testing medical devices or safety-critical systems
Strong background in embedded systems testing, including real-time operating environments
Hands-on expertise in C++ (preferably C++17/20) for test automation or system validation
Familiarity with network protocols and system-level testing methodologies
Knowledge of medical device regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, MDR, IEC 62304) is a strong plus
Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-evolving, innovative environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Bonus if you have experience with:
Test automation frameworks
Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing
CI/CD pipelines in regulated environments
