Your role as a IT Operations Manager The EMEA regional IT Operations team is split into four groups with main focus areas (Networking, Modern Workplace, Server Operating Systems, Cloud). The IT Operations Manager oversees day‑to‑day operations, ensures effective coordination across activities, owns the IT Operations backlog, sets priorities, plans, assigns, and executes efficiently, and drives operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What will you do?

Resource Planning: Ensure the right number of skilled personnel for operations, support, and projects.

Shift Scheduling: Plan shifts, on‑call rotations, and coverage for holidays or absences.

Capacity Planning: Monitor and forecast server, storage, and network capacity.

Training & Development: Identify skill gaps and arrange training or certifications.

Project Allocation: Assign team members and technical resources to projects based on priority and availability.

Timeline Management: Coordinate resources to meet project deadlines without impacting daily operations.

Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs through consolidation, automation, or vendor negotiations.

Lifecycle Management: Plan upgrades, replacements, and decommissioning of outdated systems.

Reporting: Develop, maintain, and present analytical reports that provide insights into operational performance.

Team Leadership: Oversee HR aspects of the team, including performance evaluations and career development.

Who are we looking for?

7–10 years of relevant experience.

Proven experience in IT Operations management within a multi‑country or regional environment.

Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

A strategic mindset combined with hands‑on problem‑solving skills.

Fully proficient in English; any other European language is a plus.
