Plan, define, and maintain the test strategy for Identity and Access Management system deliveries, covering functional, integration, regression, and security-related testing.
Coordinate and execute testing activities across multiple IAM platforms, including identity governance, access management, directory services, and authentication services.
Conduct end-to-end testing for Joiner–Mover–Leaver (JML) processes, access provisioning and de-provisioning, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and privileged access requests.
Manage defect identification, triage, prioritization, resolution, and re-testing in collaboration with developers, IAM engineers, and delivery teams.
Ensure testing activities address both functional quality and security impact prior to production release.
Prepare, maintain, and govern high-quality test documentation to support compliance, audits, and delivery assurance.
Collaborate with IAM architects, cybersecurity teams, project managers, and business stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.
Guide business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate access request outcomes against defined requirements.
Communicate test progress, risks, dependencies, and go-live readiness clearly to stakeholders and management.
What You Bring to the Table
You bring 10+ years of overall experience in Identity and Access Management, cybersecurity testing, or security-focused quality assurance roles within enterprise environments.
You have strong hands-on experience in IAM test planning, coordination, and execution across complex identity ecosystems.
You possess in-depth knowledge of authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, identity lifecycle management, and privileged access controls.
You have proven experience working with test management and tracking tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira.
You demonstrate the ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders.
You Should Possess the Ability To
Perform IAM testing activities independently while managing dependencies across multiple systems and integrations.
Translate IAM business and technical requirements into structured test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
Evaluate security and access risks during testing and ensure appropriate mitigation before system release.
Apply testing best practices aligned with IAM security, compliance, and enterprise delivery standards.
Communicate testing outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement in IAM testing methodologies, templates, and reusable assets.
