You will transform complex IoT data into intuitive applications and powerful backends that process millions of data points.

Your mission As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at IreckonCity, you are a key figure in developing innovative software that powers our IoT platforms. You will work in a multidisciplinary team focused on connecting sensors, devices, and data to make cities smarter and more efficient.

Your initial focus will be on a new project centered around IoT data. This project uses a modern technology stack with .NET, DDD principles, and an Angular frontend, combined with IoT protocols such as MQTT and cloud integrations.

What you will do

Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable features for our IoT-driven platforms and customer-facing applications.

Write SOLID-based code in C#/.NET for the backend and Angular, TypeScript, or React for the frontend.

Integrate IoT devices and sensor networks via protocols such as MQTT, REST APIs, and WebSockets.

Build real-time dashboards and data pipelines to make IoT data understandable and actionable.

Ensure software quality through tests, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.

Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team with a product manager and IoT specialists to build solutions that deliver real value.

Work in a dynamic environment with opportunities to see on-site how our solutions are implemented.

Your profile

At least five years of experience in software development, with an intention to grow into a Lead Developer role.

Strong backend foundation with excellent knowledge of recent .NET versions and C#, including building and consuming REST APIs.

Experience with Azure Functions, Azure IoT Hub, and SQL databases.

IoT knowledge is a major plus, such as experience with protocols like MQTT and CoAP, device management, and real-time data integration.

Experience with modern frontend frameworks, preferably Angular or React.

Experience with unit and integration tests and actively participating in code reviews.

Communicative and proactive approach. you say what you do and do what you say.

Good team management and leadership skills; someone who can lead-by-example

A self-starter and resourceful, comfortable in an environment that requires initiative and ownership.

Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.

Having a startup/scaleup mentality is a strong plus.

Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure Cloud.

Affinity with IoT devices such as ESP or Arduino is a plus.
