Objective Preparation and start-up of production and assembly. Determination of working methods and sequence. Preparation of drawings for Production and Sales including creation of Bill of Materials for ERP inputs.

Applications include public lighting, signposting, traffic installations, power distribution and decorative projects.

PERFORMANCE

Tasks & Responsibilities Preparation and creation of technical drawings for production orders, including construction and technology drawings (assembly and operation). Preparation of customer proposal drawings to support sales team. Working with the ERP system: creating BOM structures & Routing. Reading and understanding Production drawings and parts lists, content analysis and assessment of correct working methods and sequence of Production. Product development for new and existing modified products. Working with PDM/PLM systems for CAD & BOM management. Develop technical specifications. Develop and verify technology instructions for production. Determine outsourcing based on supplier capabilities. Identify and implement improvement opportunities. Checking of drawings. Archiving and distribution of construction and technological documentation. Ongoing technological understanding on the production process. Ability to explain information to and communicate with other departments (sales, quality, logistics, planning, production,... Participation in active projects.

Planning Participating in planning meetings. Following the weekly schedule of the engineering department.

Communication Discuss progress of work with Engineering manager. Consult on work activities with the Production Planner, Work Planner, fellow Production Drawing Engineer and Engineers. Sales & Customer support communication in regards to developing drawing concepts.

Skills MBO 4, Technical Draftsman. 3D Solidworks experience essential (or in similar 3D application) Experience with BOM creation and maintenance beneficial 2D AutoCAD experience beneficial Experience with PDM/PLM systems for CAD data management beneficial Experience with ERP system for BOM management Knowledge of Microsoft Office products Safety regulations Knowledge of construction and production techniques

Languages Required: Dutch/English Pre: German/French
