Optro-Mechanical Engineer

As part of our continued growth, we are currently looking for an

Opto-Mechanical Engineer

to join our team in Eindhoven. This role is ideal for a mechanical engineer with strong optics knowledge who is passionate about designing high-precision optical systems.

Your role :

Design and develop opto-mechanical systems involving

lenses, optics, and laser

technologies. Create mechanical designs for systems that reflect and manipulate light with high precision. Integrate optical components into mechanical assemblies while ensuring stability and alignment. Perform tolerance analysis and ensure robustness against

vibration

and environmental factors. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including optical and system engineers. Use simulation and optical design tools such as

Zemax

to validate and optimize optical performance. Support prototyping, testing, and validation of optical systems.

Your profile :

Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Mechanical, Physics, Optics Engineering or related field. At least 2 years of experience in

opto-mechanical

design. Strong mechanical background with experience in precision design. Knowledge of

optics, lenses, laser systems , and optical alignment principles. Experience with optical simulation tools such as

Zemax. Understanding of vibration analysis and its impact on optical performance. Ability to design systems that accurately reflect and control light.
