System Engineer
Location: Breda
Purpose of the Role
The System Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, integration, and testing of metering, supervisory, and control systems. The role ensures that all systems meet project specifications, budgets, and timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
General
Design and develop system software and associated documentation according to project requirements.
Collaborate as a member of multidisciplinary project teams, often contributing to multiple projects simultaneously.
Follow established company standards and best practices in system development.
Technical Activities
Translate client specifications, purchase orders, P& IDs, and instrument datasheets into comprehensive design documents, including functional design documents, hardware architecture, and IO lists, following international oil & gas industry standards.
Develop system software for supervisory systems, flow computers, and PLCs.
Produce project documentation, including installation and operation manuals, as well as test procedures.
Oversee installation and integration of test environments and conduct in-house testing.
Facilitate smooth system transfer to the operations or technical support teams.
Additional Responsibilities
Ensure all work complies with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 QHSE procedures.
Support the organization's commitment to "Best Practice" and "First Time Right" principles.
Apply commercial awareness when making technical or business decisions.
Maintain a neat and organized work environment.

Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge and skills in line with professional development frameworks.
Strong technical and commercial awareness with a flexible, proactive attitude.
Interest in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly in Custody Transfer Metering and supervisory systems.
Familiarity with international CT standards and guidelines (ISO, AGA, API, OIML, etc.).
Experience with PLC and SCADA software, computer systems and networking, field instrumentation, communication protocols, and programming.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.
Salary up to €6000,00 a month
