Responsibilities
Design and develop general arrangements for accommodation, technical spaces, and/or outer deck areas
Engineer steel outfitting and deck layouts with focus on functionality, maintainability, safety, and ergonomics
Create and review 2D and 3D models and drawings using tools such as Cadmatic and CATIA / 3DExperience
Ensure designs comply with class rules, naval standards, and customer specifications
Produce and check fabrication, mounting, and installation documentation
Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines, suppliers, and subcontractors
Support production, installation, and commissioning phases with technical expertise
Contribute to process improvements, yard standards, and engineering best practices
Mentor junior engineers and support the professional growth of the outfitting team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Minimum 4 years of experience in outfitting, arrangements, steel outfitting, or naval ship engineering
Strong proficiency in Cadmatic and/or CATIA / 3DExperience
Solid knowledge of shipbuilding standards, class rules, and production processes
Proven ability to develop arrangements, lists, and fabrication or mounting drawings
Strong understanding of usability, maintainability, and ergonomics in complex ship designs
Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
Excellent antecedents as a pre‑employment security screening are a standard part of the recruitment procedure
Must be a permanent EU citizen
Benefits & Compensation
Salary range of €52k – €82k, based on experience
Application for the 30% ruling (expat tax advantage)
