ECS Administration Specialist

to join our technical team in Amsterdam. This is a 1-year contract focused on managing complex cloud tiering integrations and optimizing our global storage footprint.

The Role As our ECS Lead, you will be the go-to authority for configuring and troubleshooting systems. You won't just be "maintaining" hardware; you’ll be designing and implementing integrations across a multi-cloud landscape, including

Amazon S3, Isilon, and Data Domain. Key Responsibilities System Architecture:

Plan, design, and implement ECS solutions tailored to diverse enterprise use cases. Cloud Integration:

Manage seamless connectivity between on-prem systems and cloud storage (S3, Data Domain Cloud Tier, Isilon CloudPools, and NetWorker CloudBoost). Administration:

Utilize the

ECS Portal and Designer

to configure, monitor, and optimize system performance. Troubleshooting:

Act as the Tier 3 support for complex integration issues, resolving data center challenges and storage bottlenecks. Technical Advocacy:

Provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders and stay ahead of the curve on the latest ECS features and best practices. Requirements ECS Mastery:

Deep knowledge of ECS concepts, features, and fundamental data center architecture. Ecosystem Expertise:

Hands-on experience with Isilon CloudPools, and NetWorker CloudBoost. Cloud Fluency:

Proven experience with

Amazon S3

and hybrid cloud storage workflows. Analytical Mindset:

Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment. Communication:

Ability to translate complex technical challenges into actionable solutions for stakeholders.
