About the role As a Cost Expert (Kostprijsdeskundige) at KWS Infra Rotterdam/Zwijndrecht, you will be responsible for precise and sustainable cost calculation across a wide range of infrastructure projects. Your work varies daily: from drafting budgets based on customer contract documents to building winning cost calculations for complex tenders. You’ll also assess strategy, identify opportunities and risks, and guide the team on sustainable choices. Regular meetings with management, on‑site visits for accurate data collection, and clear hand‑over to the execution and preparation teams are all part of the role. Projects range from small RAW works to large D&C contracts up to €100 million, with both local and regional assignments.

Qualifications

HBO work‑and‑thinking level with a completed education in Civil Engineering or a comparable field.

Several years of relevant experience in a similar role within the infrastructure sector.

Good grasp of administrative processes and familiarity with market contract forms such as RAW, UAV‑GC, EMVI and construction teams.

Excellent command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken.

Competitive salary of up to €5 750 bruto per 4 weeks (13 periods per year).
