Cost Engineer

- Study specifications and drawings to create an overview of the work to be carried out. - Prepare calculations for the work to be performed. - Develop quotations and explain them to contractors. - Estimate time standards for installation work. - Maintain knowledge of assembly techniques. - Analyze data to establish standards for assembly times and costs, and set key figures. - Conduct consultations with the Sales department, project management, work preparation, and the drawing room. - Provide commercial advice and suggest alternatives. - Request quotes from suppliers. - Review calculations to gain better insight into actual costs. - Keep up-to-date with trends, new introductions, and standards. - Share knowledge about trends, new introductions, and standards with colleagues. - Participate in construction teams.
