IT Support Engineer

PFH Technology is currently looking for an experienced

IT Desktop Support Engineer

to join our client’s expanding Team.

Key Responsibilities Minimum

7 years’ experience

in an IT Support or Desktop Support role Deliver top-quality IT support to end-users both onsite and remotely via helpdesk systems and in person Provide real-time onsite technical support to resolve hardware and software issues Troubleshoot issues across Windows 10, laptops, tablets, printers, and wireless/LAN networks Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications Stage and prepare hardware for new starters, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience Perform Active Directory user and group administration Amend privileges and security permissions on server shares Set up and manage shared folders Update and maintain ITSM/ticketing systems accurately Track, route, and escalate incidents to appropriate teams when required Liaise with local and national ICT teams (e.g., server and network teams) to identify root causes of recurring issues Provide guidance on ICT policies, data security, and “how-to” queries Troubleshoot hardware faults and coordinate with third-party vendors when necessary Follow up with customers to ensure full resolution and exceed service expectations

Technical Skills Strong proficiency with

Windows operating systems (Windows 10) Experience with

Microsoft Office, email clients, and common business applications Knowledge of

Active Directory administration Basic understanding of networking principles (LAN/WAN, wireless connectivity) Experience using IT ticketing/ITSM systems Hardware staging, configuration, and troubleshooting experience

Soft Skills & Competencies Excellent client-facing and communication skills Very strong proficiency in English is Must. Advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to multi-task and work under pressure Strong customer-focused mindset with commitment to service excellence Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Proactive, solution-oriented approach Eagerness to learn and grow within the role
