Wie zijn wij? Bij Eitje draait alles om de software. Die moet zo robuust, intuïtief, en visueel aantrekkelijk mogelijk zijn. Dat is de enige manier om als nieuwkomer in een markt succes te hebben. Daar hoort wel een mentaliteit bij: hard werken. Maar om eerlijk te zijn doen we dat ook omdat programmeren - onder de juiste omstandigheden - zo vreselijk leuk is. Wij zijn zes jaar geleden gestart met Eitje. Ondertussen ontwikkelen wij de software met een team van acht en bedienen wij meer dan 1.500 bedrijven. Wij hebben grootse plannen en zien jou daar graag in!

Het product Met Eitje heeft een manager alles bij de hand om zijn teamleden snel en eenvoudig aan te sturen. Je kan met Eitje bijvoorbeeld plannen, alle HR-zaken regelen en je teamleden geautomatiseerd inwerken. Ons doel is dat een bedrijf nog maar één tool nodig heeft om haar team aan te sturen.

Waarom Eitje? We zijn een klein team, met veel verantwoordelijkheid en vrijheid. Er is weinig legacy code, en weinig onderhoud, dus je bent vooral bezig met spannende, nieuwe projecten. Op onze planning staat nu de ontwikkeling van ons eigen BI (Business Intelligence) systeem en willen met behulp van AI een rooster voor onze klanten gaan maken, twee projecten waar jij een belangrijke rol in kan spelen. Daarnaast hebben we een hekel aan

meetings , we prefereren korte gesprekjes waarin we slechts het noodzakelijke bespreken. Bij Eitje staat openheid centraal: we weten dat er van alles fout gaat en begrijpen dat het erkennen & analyseren van fouten de enige weg vooruit is. We houden ook niet van moeilijk doen en proberen een beetje flexibel te zijn: als jij iets nodig hebt, zoals bijvoorbeeld last-minute een weekendje weg, regelen we dat gewoon.

Wat ga je doen? Bouwen en structureren van de front-end: Je ontwikkelt en onderhoudt robuuste, goed gestructureerde front-ends in React (en React Native), met focus op kwaliteit, schaalbaarheid en gebruiksvriendelijkheid.

Oplossen van complexe technische problemen: Je werkt aan inhoudelijk lastige vraagstukken waar “snel en hacky” niet meer volstaat, en denkt mee over duurzame technische oplossingen.

Aanspreekpunt en eigenaar van front-end zaken: Je bent de lead op front-end gebied: je neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor keuzes, codekwaliteit en richting, en ondersteunt het team waar nodig.

Meebouwen aan nieuwe, strategische projecten: Je speelt een belangrijke rol in nieuwe ontwikkelingen zoals het BI-systeem en AI-gedreven roostering, en denkt actief mee over de toekomst van het product. Wat breng je mee? Why Eitje? We are a small team with a lot of responsibility and freedom. There’s very little legacy code and minimal maintenance work, so you’ll mainly be working on exciting new projects. Our current plans include developing our own BI (Business Intelligence) system and using AI to automatically generate schedules for our customers, two projects in which you can play an important role. We also dislike meetings, preferring short conversations where we only discuss what’s truly necessary.

At Eitje, openness is key. We know that things sometimes go wrong, and we believe that acknowledging and analysing mistakes is the only way forward. We also try not to make things complicated and stay flexible: if you need something, like a last-minute weekend away, we’ll make it happen.

What are you going to do? Building and structuring the front end: You develop and maintain robust, well-structured front ends in React (and React Native), with a strong focus on quality, scalability, and usability.

Solving complex technical problems: You work on technically challenging issues where “quick and hacky” solutions are no longer sufficient, and you contribute to sustainable, long-term technical solutions.

Point of contact and owner for front-end matters: You act as the front-end lead: you take responsibility for decisions, code quality, and direction, and support the team where needed.

Contributing to new, strategic projects: You play a key role in new developments such as the BI system and AI-driven scheduling, and actively help shape the future of the product.

What will you bring?
