How You Keep The Engine Running With Us
In this role, you are responsible for all operational aspects of the Electronics Shop. You focus on the efficient execution of the production planning, the optimal use of resources and the achievement of both operational and financial targets.
You report to the Head of Production and work closely with Customer Support, PPC, Supply Chain and Engineering. The department is characterised by a high work intensity, giving you a real opportunity to make an impact on your team. You are closely involved on the shop floor while at the same time sparring with fellow team leads and your manager about the direction and further development of the department.

Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities Include
Leadership: Motivate and lead a team of around 7 technicians and support staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality and collaboration.
Electronic Repairs & Manufacturing: Ensure timely and high-quality repairs and new build of electronic components in line with OEM and regulatory standards.
Production planning: Work closely with planning and control to meet customer deadlines and optimise workflow.
Quality assurance: Safeguard strict compliance with airworthiness requirements and implement robust quality controls.
Process optimisation: Identify opportunities for improvement and apply Lean principles to reduce waste and increase productivity.
Safety: Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Training & development: Promote skills development and continuous learning within the team.
How You Are Valuable To Us
A Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering/Electronics or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in an MRO or production environment.
Solid knowledge of electrical circuits, components, soldering, testing and repair.
Familiarity with EASA Part-145, IPC-A-610 (acceptance criteria for electronic assemblies), ESD safety and airworthiness requirements.
Ability to interpret manuals and technical drawings.
Proven experience in managing operations, quality and safety.
Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
Strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint;
Experience with Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) is an advantage.
IPMA-D certification is considered a plus.
You are highly people-oriented and understand what is happening on the shop floor. You pay attention to your team, listen and translate needs into action. You can be pragmatic when needed and maintain a helicopter view when the situation requires it. With your interpersonal skills and positive energy, you guide the team towards the future.
