We are seeking a hybrid

Process Engineer - Data Analyst

with strong on-site operational experience and advanced

Seeq

expertise. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep process knowledge with strong analytical skills and a practical, hands‑on mindset. You will go far beyond simply building dashboards—your work will deliver measurable improvements in

energy efficiency, sustainability, and operational performance

across our production plants.

Key Responsibilities

Support the rollout, acceleration, and expansion of the

EnergyWize

program across multiple production sites.

Collaborate directly with plant teams to understand operational, process, and energy‑management needs.

Develop, deploy, and maintain

real‑time energy monitoring dashboards .

Analyze complex plant energy and process datasets to identify efficiency, sustainability, and optimization opportunities.

Support data validation, reliability checks, and adoption of real‑time operational data platforms.

Work closely with cross‑functional teams including operations, engineering, IT, and energy experts.

Translate stakeholder insights and SME requirements into

practical, scalable digital solutions .

Drive proactive engagement and maintain project momentum at the site level.

Produce clear documentation, handover materials, and support knowledge transfer to plant teams.

Must‑Have Requirements

Master's degree in

Chemical Engineering

or a closely related field.

Minimum 2 years

of hands‑on experience working in a

chemical or biochemical production plant .

Strong proficiency in

Seeq , with proven hands‑on project experience.

Demonstrated experience in analyzing

real‑time and historical process data

in manufacturing environments.

Background that combines

Process Engineering

with

Data Analytics .

Experience creating, implementing, and maintaining operational dashboards.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets, model processes, and challenge assumptions.

Excellent communication skills in

English

(spoken and written).

Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, able to translate technical discussions into clear, actionable insights.

Demonstrated ability to work

independently , proactively, and in a hands‑on, implementation‑focused style.

Experience collaborating with cross‑functional and knowledge‑intensive SME teams.

Strong organizational discipline, with excellent documentation and structuring skills.

Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications

Experience with the

PI System , including PI AF and PI Vision.

Solid understanding of

process control

concepts and plant operations.

Exposure to agile methodologies; experience with

JIRA

is a plus.

Lean Six Sigma

certification or experience with continuous improvement initiatives.

French language skills.

Contract details:

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months + extensions

Location: Maastricht or Delft - 1 day per week onsite
