We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented

Room Attendant

to join our housekeeping team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and preparing guest rooms and public areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You will work closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor and other team members, contributing directly to the guest experience and the hotel's reputation for high standards.

You play a vital role in the smooth operations of the hotel by ensuring that all guestrooms and assigned areas meet or exceed our cleanliness and presentation standards. Key Responsibilities

Guest Room Cleaning & Preparation: Make beds and change linens; dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; clean and sanitize bathrooms; replenish guest amenities (towels, toiletries, water, etc.).

Public Area Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, stairwells, and housekeeping closets; empty trash bins and recycle as needed.

Laundry & Linen Management: Remove and transport soiled linens to the laundry area; restock clean linens and towels.

Inventory & Supplies: Maintain housekeeping cart supplies, regularly restocking cleaning products, linen, and amenities to meet operational standards.

Guest Service: Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests — e.g., extra pillows, blankets, or toiletries — and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.

Safety & Compliance: Follow all health and safety standards, including correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment; report any hazards or accidents.

Quality Assurance: Perform self-inspections, report problems, and work with the housekeeping team to maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness.

Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors; assist with training or mentoring new attendants if necessary.

Qualifications And Skills

Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is preferred but not required

Physical endurance and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting

Excellent communication and interpersonal

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as required

Work permit required
